We have this monkey story in my family. It's from when I was still a baby in the Philippines; my parents had gone out for the night and left me with my nanny. Depending on who you ask, my nanny was either in the bathroom or talking on the phone when the next little bit occurred. So, whilst my nanny was not attending to me, one of the monkeys that lived on our land had climbed up and into my window, and was about to do god knows what (kidnap me to live in the trees? Eat me alive? I have no idea, I don't have any recollection of this happening) when my parents arrived back home to check up on me to find the primate perched upon my crib, where it had no business being, according to my father.
Anyway. Bag Raiders have a fresh video out of their new single, 'Sunlight', which follows the weekend of a Scarlett Johansson type going to her job (?) at the zoo and taking one of the monkeys home for the weekend. It's a cute enough premise with a super cute girl and a cool little monkey, until it starts to creep me out when the monkey gets kinda cheeky and bad ass, and like...human male-ish. Great summer tune though, perfect for these days (in the Southern Hemisphere) when all you want to do is sip drinks in the pool - and this track will even rouse you from your heatstruck stupor to dance a little.
