When a band actually evolves from the raw sound of their EP demo to a better version of themselves; this is something that we should all celebrate. If you've heard and liked The Big Pink's 'Dominos' in the EP Too Young To Love you are going to be amazingly impressed with the album version. The track not only kept the noisy elements of the early 90's, but it also improved the drums and the electronic production.
The song will be released on the 7th of September, but the band already have a video and are giving away the song to download for free. The video shows the duo, backed up by a girl drummer (love it when girls drum), while ice sculptures of girls keep exploding as the band forces the ridiculously catchy chorus in your head. Try to resist to the "these girls fall like dominos" line - it will hunt you in the next months.
A Brief History Of Love will follow on the 14th of September. You can stream the whole album below. Certainly worth your time.
